After a finishing 3-9 overall and 6th in the Mountain West the Utah State Aggies Football program was under scrutiny, especially head coach Matt Wells.
The Aggies who are 28-25 under Wells had previously been to five straight bowl games before this season.
A letter of support from the University Vice President and Director of Athletics, John Hartwell was released Wednesday evening.
