Police say a woman in Midvale died after being shot in the head, and her boyfriend has been booked into jail on suspicion of murder.
Shaina Bigby, 27, died Wednesday, less than a day after being on life support. Cameron Lundgren, 40, who is described in a Unified Police Department news release as Bigby’s boyfriend, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and felony discharge of a firearm.
Police have described an unusual homicide investigation. Officers responded near 200 W. 8600 South on a report of an attempted suicide. The news release said witness statements didn’t match the evidence at the scene.
