A 25-year-old Utah man who reportedly attempted to cut off a woman’s fingers during a fight — managing to slice two of her digits in the process — was charged Tuesday with multiple felonies.
The woman called Provo police Feb. 15 to report the alleged assault. She said she and the man were talking in her kitchen when they got into an argument and later a fight, according to a probable cause statement. It said they had once dated and had a child together.
The man allegedly pushed her against the kitchen counter and tried to cut off her fingers.
