Utah hit by 5th minor earthquake in 5 days

The fifth minor earthquake in five days rattled Utah just after midnight on Wednesday — this one a 4.0 magnitude about five miles southwest of Kanosh in Millard County.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey Station at the University of Utah, the quake was 3.6 miles deep. A quake measuring 3.3 hit the same area on Saturday afternoon.

On Friday morning, two earthquakes — one a 3.2 magnitude, the other 3.7 — centered south of Bluffdale shook southern Salt Lake and northern Utah Counties.
