Utah redshirt freshman forward Chris Seeley was not with the team for Friday’s practice because he was scheduled to have gallbladder surgery in the afternoon.
Seeley, a native of Fresno, Calif., tweeted earlier Friday that he would be having surgery. Seeley hadn’t played in the team’s past three games due to illness. The Utes have had a stomach bug which has affect several members of the team and staff.
“Hopefully we’ll get him back here soon, but I don’t know the nature of that,” Krystkowiak said. “I’ll have to wait and hear the report from the physicians.
