Junior distance runner Dillon Maggard qualified and will represent Utah State track and field in the men’s mile at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Friday and Saturday, March 10-11, in College Station, Texas.
“Nationals is the final test and it’s everything you work for,” said Maggard. “It’s where you get to measure how good you really are, so it’s a great opportunity. This time around I have a lot more mileage and I’m better prepared. It’s really a dream come true. Competing in college and going to nationals was always a goal of mine, and I never thought it was possible to go this many times.
