USU football: Utah State now ranks among top 40 nationally in 24 different statistical categories

Through the first seven weeks of the college football season, Utah State now ranks among the top 40 nationally in 24 different statistical categories, including first in the Mountain West and second in the nation in scoring offense.

The Aggies average of 51.7 points per game, trailing only Alabama (53.6 ppg). Utah State has scored 40-plus points in each of its last five games and 30-plus points in its first six games this season, both of which are school records.
