The All-America honors continue to pile up for Utah State’s Savon Scarver. On Tuesday, the Aggies’ kickoff return specialist/wide receiver was tabbed a first-team All-American at kick returner by Phil Steele Publications.
Additionally, Scarver was one of three Aggies named to earn first-team all-Mountain West honors from Phil Steele.
Scarver was the lone Mountain West player to earn first-team honors from Phil Steele. Colorado State wide receiver Preston Williams, Fresno State linebacker Jeff Allison and defensive back Tank Kelly, New Mexico punt returner Marcus Hayes and Nevada long snapper Wes Farnsworth earned third-team accolades from the magazine.
