’Trib Talk’: What happened at the Utah Legislature?

Utah’s 2019 legislative session adjourned Thursday evening, capping off 45 days of debate on hundreds of new laws that included the replacement of a voter-approved Medicaid-expansion initiative, controversial abortion restrictions, hate crimes enhancements and a failed attempt to overhaul the state’s sales tax.
