About 30 firefighters responded to the blaze at Finch Family Farm, 358 S. 2470 West, which started as a brush fire about 1:30 a.m., according to authorities. It spread to several buildings; the body of the victim was found in the burned-out remains of one of those structures.
The fire did not affect nearby Amelia Earhart Elementary School, which was scheduled to open as usual.
The cause of the fire was under investigation as firefighters searched for the missing person Monday morning.
