LAS VEGAS — Utah State's victory over Wyoming on Wednesday earned it a date with top seed San Diego State in the Mountain West basketball tournament quarterfinals today.
The Aggies, who ran out to a 25-point first-half lead in an eventual 88-70 win vs. the Cowboys, will need that kind of offensive performance against the Aztecs. San Diego State leads the nation in field goal percentage defense at 37 percent.
