Liam has unseated Noah as the most popular boys name for babies born in 2017, topping the list for the first time, according to Social Security data released Friday.
Meanwhile, Michael — which was the No. 1 boy’s name from 1961 to 1998 — dropped out of the top 10 for the first time since World War II. Emily dropped out of the top 10 for the first time since 1990.
