Congratulations to the Utah Opera and Utah Symphony on their recent production of “I Pagliacci” and “Gianni Schicchi.” The high production values and strong casting combined to make this production truly memorable.
Our Utah Symphony players are playing on par with some of the best orchestras I’ve heard. It is truly remarkable to have productions such as this happening right here in our own Capitol Theatre.
Also newsworthy was the Utah debut of Marina Costa-Jackson, a Utah native who’s on a meteoric career path. Marina began her career at the University of Utah and has enjoyed the kind of success that happens only rarely.
