During mid-April I sent an inquiry to a number of our elected officials. I asked them to give me a reasonable explanation as to why gas prices had increased over $1 per gallon when the world is swimming in oil? I asked them not to tell me it was due to summer blends, refinery maintenance, etc., as I don’t buy those reasons.
I received a response from the office of Gov. Gary Herbert from Kelli Lucero saying they had received my inquiry and someone would reach out. To date I’ve heard nothing more. Sen. Rob Bishop and Rep.
