KUED-Channel 7 is about to change how it markets itself — as of Nov. 25, it will be known as PBS Utah, complete with a new logo, a new color palette and new graphics.
The change has been in the works for months. And it was made possible, in no small part, by KBYU-Channel 11′s decision to cut its ties to the Public Broadcasting Service, leaving KUED as the sole PBS station in the state.
The impending change is one of style, not substance. The station will, of course, maintain the same KUED call letters and operate as Channel 7.
