Jury sides with San Diego in Comic Con trademark infringement dispute

A federal jury on Thursday awarded $20,000 in damages to San Diego Comic-Con in its trademark infringement dispute with Salt Lake Comic Con over their names.

The two companies organize conventions and events that celebrate comics and comic books, science fiction and fantasy films and TV shows, graphic arts, and other aspects of popular culture.
