Like any other NBA team, the Jazz knew an 82-game season would produce a few scrapes and bruises. But they couldn’t predict anything close to what is actually transpiring.
As the Jazz head into Monday night’s matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers, they will be missing their best player in Rudy Gobert, their primary backup point guard in Dante Exum and their best bench scorer in Joe Johnson. In Friday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets, Ricky Rubio and Thabo Sefolosha joined the other three on the injured list before coming back Saturday in a win over the Orlando Magic.
