Here’s where the tight 4th District race stands after Tuesday’s early updates: With about 37,000 new Utah County votes added, there are a little more than 114,000 still outstanding in the four counties that make up the 4th District.
Notable a bunch of the remaining ballots are provisionals and will take some time to be verified and tabulated.
We don’t know for sure how many are in the 4th District, but you can get an idea based on historic results, where 56 percent of the voters in Salt Lake County are in the 4th District; 17 percent of Utah County voters; 46 percent of Sanpete; and 89 percent of Juab.
