West Valley City • Authorities say a man driving a car on a metro Salt Lake City freeway was killed when it stopped in a traffic lane and then was struck from behind by another car and burst into flames on impact.
The victim of the crash that occurred late Friday night on Interstate 215 in West Valley City was identified as 23-year-old Luis Franco of West Valley City.
Northbound lanes of I-215 reopened Saturday morning after authorities cleaned up debris and investigated the crash.
