Wilson announced his decommitment from the Broncos on Twitter on Wednesday. He still plans to sign early and begin college next term, he told The Tribune, which gives him about a week to decide where he’s headed. The early signing period begins Dec. 20.
Wilson backed off his commitment to Boise State after a week in which BYU and Iowa made offers. He said the Broncos wanted to know what he was thinking, and he backed out of his verbal commitment.
“My family and I have been 100 percent committed to Boise State since the day I committed,” Wilson said in his statement on Twitter.
