Prosecutors have scheduled an 11 a.m. news conference related to disappearance and death of University of Utah student MacKenzie Lueck, days after police found her body in Logan Canyon.
Ayoola Ajayi, 31, was booked into jail June 28 on suspicion of aggravated murder, aggravated kidnapping, desecration of a body and obstruction of justice. The Salt Lake County district attorney’s office asked for and received an extension of the deadline to file formal charges, and said charges should be filed early this week.
