Before last week, BYU had not been ranked since early in the 2015 season after wins over Nebraska and Boise State.
“Things are trending the right way, but we are not really focused on the rankings right now,” Sitake said at Monday’s weekly press briefing as the Cougars continued preparations for Saturday’s showdown at No. 11 Washington. “We appreciate that people respect us and what we have done, but we don’t really have time for that stuff.
