Utah State couldn't get the stops it needed down the stretch as Boise State notched its eighth win in a row by a score of 76-61 Tuesday night at the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum.
Trailing by double digits for much of the second half, the Aggies (9-5, 0-2) pulled within 10 points of the Broncos with 5:11 left, but got no closer. Boise State (11-4, 2-0) scored five unanswered to push their lead to 15, and maintained a lead of 12 or more for the rest of the game to extend Utah State's losing streak to two games.
