A 28-year-old who was shot in the head in the last of a series of shootings in Ogden one weekend in late November has died, police announced Thursday.
Brian Housley was shot just after 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 27 while inside a home near 900 East and 16th Street, Lt. Tim Scott said. He was put on life support after the shooting and died Nov. 30.
Police believe the shooting was possibly gang-motivated, though Scott said it doesn’t seem Housley was the shooter’s intended victim because he wasn’t affiliated with any gang.
“There’s nothing that tells us that he was the one that was specifically targeted,” Scott said.
