A new account will collect donations for the family of missing 5-year-old; Logan police schedule Wednesday news conference

An account to collect donations for the family of missing 5-year-old Elizabeth “Lizzy” Shelley has been opened at Zions Bank, the Cache County Attorney’s office said Wednesday.

The name of the account is Elizabeth Shelley Donation and it is the only account authorized by the family, said Jill Parker, spokeswoman for the victim advocates in the office and for the Logan family.

Lizzy has been missing from her home since Saturday, as searches for her continue. Logan police have scheduled a news conference at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Logan Police Chief Gary Jensen has said Lizzy’s family stayed up late Friday night, and the girl was last seen at about 2 a.
