SAN JOSE, Calif. – About 10 minutes after most of his teammates had left the arena to return to their hotel to rest up for the evening’s game against the Sharks, Coyotes defenseman Jakob Chychrun was just getting to the dressing room to peel off his equipment from the morning’s skate.
This has become a routine for Chychrun lately, putting in extra work on the day of games before watching the action from the press box, as the Coyotes try to get Chychrun to regain the poise that helped him impressively crack the roster as an 18-year-old rookie.
