Coyotes winger Anthony Duclair went nine games, almost 30 periods – plus an overtime – and more than 130 minutes without a goal – a contribution that became his trademark after racking up 20 last season as a rookie.
But the 21-year-old sure picked an opportune time to finally bury his first.
Duclair scored the game-tying goal in the third period and converted in the shootout to help the Coyotes rally for a 3-2 shootout win over the Predators Thursday at Gila River Arena.
"It was bound to happen one game or another," Duclair said. "I think the thing for me is not to get frustrated.
