SALT LAKE CITY — How quickly a forecast can change.
At this time last year, the Utah Jazz were being talked about as a potential contender for an NBA championship after the summer acquisitions of Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic, Ed Davis and Jeff Green.
The Jazz fell considerably short of that lofty goal, however, finishing the strange 2019-20 season sixth in the Western Conference (to be fair, some of that had to do with purposeful late jockeying to set up a more desirable playoff matchup) and getting eliminated in the first round of postseason by the Denver Nuggets.
