Utah Jazz waive Trey Lewis, bring in Isaiah Cousins

Dennis Lindsey and the Utah Jazz know what roster they will be bringing into the regular season, but they aren’t done making moves. The team has waived Trey Lewis and signed Isaiah Cousins, but these are moves for the Salt Lake City Stars, Utah’s G-League affiliate.

Assuming Lewis clears waivers, he could join the Stars for the 2018-19 season. Cousins will also likely be waived, where he will re-join the Stars as well. Cousins was with the Stars last season and averaged 13.2 points, 4.2 assists and 3.6 rebounds per contest.

Lewis did not appear in either of the two preseason games the Jazz have played thus far, as he has been nursing a sprained ankle.
