Utah Jazz: Trevor Booker Suspended For Roy Hibbert Slap

The second preseason game between the Utah Jazz and the Los Angeles Lakers was one of the more physically intense exhibition games you’ll ever see. Unfortunately, some of that chippy play spilled over into an altercation between Jazz forward Trevor Booker and Roy Hibbert of the Lakers.

For his part in the confrontation, Booker has become subject to disciplinary action from the NBA. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, the fiery Jazzman has been suspended for his team’s regular season opener against the Detroit Pistons–
