Utah Jazz sign Justin James to two-way contract

The Utah Jazz announced they have signed Justin James to a two-way contract.

It’s an interesting signing because James brings some nice tools to the table. He’s a 6’6” small forward that might have some nice upside.

Selected 40th overall by the Kings in 2019, James saw very little time with the Kings. A quick glance at his stats shows some promise as his percentages all improved. He went from 31% from three to 36% as well as improving his free throw and overall field goal percentage. It’s on a very small sample so this is obviously a play by the Jazz to take on a player with a chance to develop.
