Utah Jazz sign former Oregon sharpshooter E.J. Singler

SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz have added another player to their roster, signing free agent forward E.J. Singler and securing the former Oregon forward's D-League rights.

If he doesn't stick with the Jazz, who have until early next week to bring their roster back down to 13-15 players, Singler will likely begin the basketball season with the team's D-League affiliate, the Idaho Stampede.

The 6-6 Singler, the older brother of Oklahoma City's Kyle Singler, played the 2014-15 season in Estonia for BC Kalev/Cramo. He averaged 6.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 60 games.
