SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz signed a couple more players on Sunday, but fans shouldn't get too caught up in wondering how Phil Pressey and Eric Atkins fit into the team's current roster.
While the team officially claimed Pressey off of waivers after the Blazers cut him last week and signed Atkins, the two guards will be waived by the team. This move was made to secure affiliate rights for these young players, who will play for Utah's D-League team, the Idaho Stampede.
NBA teams have until Monday night to trim their rosters to between 13-15 players.
