While the on-court success of the Utah Jazz has made it one of the better organizations in sports, its work in the community remains one of the hallmarks of the franchise. Though Jazz Nation has suffered through the occasional losing season, the team’s charitable efforts have always been worthy of praise.
Such was the case last week when the team hosted the 17th annual “We Care – We Share” Thanksgiving Dinner at Vivint Smart Home Arena. The event serves to provide a traditional Thanksgiving dinner to local homeless and low-income individuals and is a part of the NBA Cares Season of Giving.
