When news broke that the Boston Celtics would not be participating in the 2018 Utah Jazz Summer League, it was hard not to wonder about the four-team league’s future. Would the Jazz replace the C’s with another NBA team? An international squad, perhaps? Or maybe it would fold altogether.
Now, it would seem, we have our answer. Rest assured, it’s good news for Salt Lake City’s summer hoops tradition.
According to Atlanta Hawks GM Travis Schlenk, his squad will round out the field at this year’s Jazz Summer League, which will likely include the usual cast of teams.
