The Utah Jazz may have had the night off, but things were still hopping in Jazzland on Wednesday. Just a quick jaunt down I-15 from Vivint Smart Home Arena, Utah’s G-League affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars, made their 2017-18 home debut at the Salt Lake Community College Redwood Campus.
In the end, they fell short against the Wisconsin Herd, but the 2100 fans in attendance at Bruin Arena got a nice show along the way.
After getting blitzed in the opening carom and failing to bridge a double-digit gap by halftime, the Stars battled back from a 19-point second-half deficit.
