Following the team’s announcement of Martin Schiller as head coach last week, the Salt Lake City Stars continue to make moves. The Utah Jazz G-League affiliate is currently rounding out Schiller’s staff, announcing Bryan Bailey and Nathan Peavy as assistant coaches.
Bailey and Peavy both spent time with Schiller in Germany’s Basketball Bundesliga as players. The trio teamed up from 2010-12 with the BBL’s Artland Dragons.
The 37-year-old Bailey wrapped up an extensive playing career in Europe back in 2015. From 2002 until his retirement, the former point guard made stops in the Netherlands, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Poland and Italy in addition to his German stint.
