Utah Jazz make more roster cuts

“They’re always really difficult. Difficult on Dennis (Lindsey) and myself. More difficult on the players, obviously.”

SALT LAKE CITY — With a week to spare, the Utah Jazz whittled their roster down to an allowable amount.

Popular point guard Bryce Cotton and shooting guard Treveon Graham were waived by the Jazz on Tuesday morning.

"They’re always really difficult," Jazz coach Quin Snyder said about player cuts. "Difficult on Dennis (Lindsey) and myself. More difficult on the players, obviously."

Those moves, however, were a good sign for several other Jazz players who have nonguaranteed contracts, including center Jeff Withey and forwards Chris Johnson and Elijah Millsap.
