The Utah Jazz lost their preseason home opener against the Portland Trail Blazers to fall to 2-2. If preseason records hold true, then the New York Knicks and Sacramento Kings are on a championship collision course while the San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers will land in the lottery.
That’s preseason basketball in a nutshell; these games need to be taken with a grain of salt. It’s good to win in the preseason, but the important thing is growth, development and getting to opening night rested and uninjured.
