The NBA season has been suspended, and now two Utah Jazz players have been confirmed to have novel coronavirus — Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell.
The news regarding Mitchell’s positive test results came this morning, with ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski first reporting.
Following last night’s stunning development, fifty-eight members of the Utah Jazz organization were tested for novel coronavirus, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. Mitchell was the only one to come back positive.
Gobert and Mitchell, the Utah Jazz’s two All-Stars and arguably the two biggest faces in the state of Utah, appear to be the only ones in the organization with novel coronavirus.
