Utah Jazz rookie Raul Neto impressed in his preseason debut, leaving coach Quin Snyder to try and temper the expectations of his new player.
While fans and media are enamored with the rookie point guard, the Jazz coach tapped the brakes a bit on the Neto lovefest after his impressive debut.
“Let’s slow down for the kid. He’s played one game. Obviously, we’re pleased with how he played. I think people are excited about the fact that he defended and he played with some passion.”
HONOLULU — Officially, Raul Neto was credited with four steals in the Utah Jazz’s 90-71 preseason win Sunday night against the Los Angeles Lakers.
