The Utah Jazz on Wednesday formally announced two hires that have been in the works for nearly two months, as well as the promotion of a staff member to a new role.
Justin Zanik and David Morway have been hired as assistant general managers, while Steven Schwartz has been promoted from a basketball operations assistant role to director of basketball operations.
ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski first reported Zanik's and Morway's impending hires on July 21.
Zanik was the Jazz's assistant general manager for nearly three years before leaving in 2016 for the same job with the Milwaukee Bucks.
