SALT LAKE CITY (January 19, 2016) – The Utah Jazz and Mountain America Credit Union announced that Utah Honor Flight is this season’s third recipient of “Pass It Along,” a program featuring fan nomination opportunities that will reward five local charitable organizations with $5,000 each.
Utah Honor Flight, which honors America’s veterans by transporting them to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials, was presented with a $5,000 donation prior to the Saturday, Jan. 16 game vs. L.A. Lakers at Vivint Smart HomeArena.
“The Utah Honor Flight is excited to be the recipient of MACU’s ‘Pass It Along’ program,” said Mike Turner, Utah Honor Flight chairman.
