Philadelphia • Trey Burke came off the bench on opening night—just not that often in the second half.
The third-year point guard logged just 2:40 in the third quarter of Wednesday’s loss to the Pistons and did not get back into the game. He finished scoreless with an assist, a rebound and a turnover in 15:40 of action, while rookie Raul Neto logged more than 26 minutes of game time.
But Burke on Thursday said he was not bothered by coach Quin Sndyer’s decision to sit him for much of the game.
"No. I mean, my main thing is winning, winning the game," he said after practice.
