The Utah Jazz’s Kyle Filipowski just earned MVP honors

Kyle Filipowski wasn’t just one of the best players in the 2025 Summer League. He was the best.

After putting up monster numbers of 29.3 points a game on 56.1% field goal shooting and 39.1% from deep in Las Vegas, Filipowski was named the NBA 2K26 Summer League Most Valuable Player.

Just off of eye-test alone, Filipowski was by far the best offensive player amongst the summer competition. He had two separate games of over 30 points, scoring 35 against the Spurs and 32 against the Hornets. Including the three games he played in Salt Lake, he had three double-doubles in six games this summer.
