That’s more like it.
After four straight losses, the Utah Jazz closed their preseason schedule in style, blowing out the Denver Nuggets 98-78 in Salt Lake City on Thursday night.
The Jazz ran out to an early lead and never looked back, leading by double-digits pretty much the entire way.
Rudy Gobert double-doubled with 14 points and 11 rebounds (and two blocks), while Trey Burke led the team with 17 points. Derrick Favors scored 10 points and blocked four shots.
Danilo Gallinari scored a game-high 19 points for the Nuggets.
Thursday’s Best
Burke led the team in scoring, but his end-of-quarter shot-making was more impressive than his point total.
