After falling behind early and trailing for much of the game, the Utah Jazz came back to (briefly) take the lead before falling to the Portland Trail Blazers 88-81 Monday night at EnergySolutions Arena.
Both teams are now 2-2 in preseason play.
Alec Burks led the Jazz with 19 points. Rodney Hood added 13, while Gordon Hayward had 10. Derrick Favors finished with nine points, 10 rebounds, two steals and three blocks.
Meyers Leonard led Portland with 19 points and eight rebounds, while C.J. McCollum scored seven of his 16 points down the stretch before he was ejected for a Flagrant Type 2 foul (on a Gordon Hayward breakaway attempt) with 2:18 left in the game.
