The Utah Jazz led early on before falling victim to San Antonio's suffocating defense and eventually losing to the Spurs 96-78 Thursday night at Vivint Smart Home Arena.
The game was closer than the score indicates as the Spurs went on a 15-5 run midway through the fourth quarter to seal the victory.
Derrick Favors led the Jazz with 25 points. Rodney Hood (12 points) and Gordon Hayward (11 points) were the only other Jazz players to score in double figures.
Utah fell to 28-29 with the loss.
Kawhi Leonard scored a game-high 29 points for the Spurs.
