Shootaround notes: Flu-like symptoms could keep Derrick Favors out of home opener

Sniffling, sneezing, coughing, aching, stuffy head, fever?
It’s Flu-Like Season in Jazzland.
Blame it on the cold weather or maybe all that recycled air from Utah’s three-game road swing to open the season. Whatever the case may be, Quin Snyder sent a sickly Derrick Favors him early from practice yesterday because of some "flu-like symptoms" and, after missing shootaround this morning, he’s listed as questionable to play in tonight’s home opener against the Blazers.
And if you’ve been watching the Jazz so far this year, you know that’s nothing to make a terrible pun at.
