Rudy Gobert has been named to the All-NBA 3rd team, his 4th All-NBA selection. This is just another award for Gobert whose trophy shelf is gonna need a few extra supports with all the new accolades this season.
For the season Gobert averaged 14.3 points, 13.5 rebounds and 2.7 blocks. Gobert was also tops in the league in things like defensive win shares, defensive real plus minus etc. Basically if it’s a stat that indicates winning, Gobert was at the top. The Utah Jazz were vastly better all season in multiple categories when Gobert was on the floor with a top ten defense and offense with Gobert and ended the season with the best record in the league.
